Uvumi
Branding, identity, and web/UI design for a Austin based start-up and social-networking internet-radio site. I was intrigued by their strong message of DIY communities, independent artists and a usability driven aesthetic.
Inspired by elements of DIY culture and music scenes (part of my chemical make-up), the logo type is a modified form of Belizio, which is more commonly used in magazines and newspapers, but I felt it had some nice poster-art qualities about it, and especially as I started playing around with it and experimenting with its form.
Website Design
The fella's at Uvumi had a basic wire-frame in place with some minimal design when they brought me in. They asked me to audit what they had already and do a re-skin.
Audio Player UI
I felt that the audio player was going to be one of the most important visual elements of the site and needed a really nice, simple and useable UI.
