Hatch Show Print + KFC


Synopsis

Kentucky Fried Chicken created it's own version of Nashville Hot Chicken, and to support the launch we created some posters at Nashville's legendary letterpress studio, Hatch Show Print. These limited edition posters about a limited-time chicken were shared and given away on the time-limiting app, Snapchat.  An experiment in ephemerality that led to some real existential fried chicken questions.

We also shared the posters on Facebook with a "Behind the Scenes" video that showed the posters being made at Hatch Show, and utilized Facebook's Canvas ad unit to go deeper into Hatch Show and the posters and to get users excited about the snapchat giveaway.

 

 
 

Then we used Snapchat to give the posters away to fans along with some social media support.

And created two product-focused :15 second TV spots for additional support.
